ASEAN’s biggest lifestyle designer product show, BIG+BIH 38th edition, is set to welcome buyers from throughout the world to the five day event on October 19-23 at BITEC, Bangkok, Thailand, with new look and more product highlights.
The five-day show, organized by Ministry of Commerce’s Department of International Trade Promotion in collaboration with the Thai Lifestyle Products Federation and the Design & Objects Association, will see almost 600 Thais and international exhibitors displaying their products in 1,600 exhibiting booths on 40,000 sqm. ground, halls 101-106.
In what is promised to be a “bigger…better….more quality…new look” show, DITP said in its press release that buyers can expect to see thousands of products, including latest collections of lifestyle and design objects for their preview/order placing for the upcoming festive season.
Categorized in eight groups for buyer convenience, the exhibit products include gift and premiums, decorative, handicrafts, home textile products, households, toys, Christmas items, candles, stationary and green and eco products.
DITP said further that many new features and highlights have been added to benefit buyers for a “one stop shop” during the first three day trade marked on October 19-21. Among them are the latest collections of hundreds of new product launch.
First launched will be “Hospitality Objects Thailand (H.O.T.) in Hall 106, with 7,000 sqm. space, H.O.T. will see latest design furniture and decorative products to serve the booming hospitality businesses, i.e. hotels, boutique resorts, themed restaurants, pubs, cafes, spas, cruises, etc; looking for especially designed items.
Other highlights include the famous Design Hall where hundreds of selected design products will be displayed, Demark 2014 (exhibition of 83 outstanding design products receiving Design Excellence Award 2013), exhibitions of naturally used green and eco products, expanded items for 60+ and wedding markets, top of OTOP (top quality lifestyle products from villages throughout Thailand), Thailand Trade Mark (TTM) product zone, Asia Talents product zone (dedicated for designers from Thailand and ASEAN countries to display their work pieces), I+D Style Café (display of a prototype coffee shop for a new modern lifestyle generation, and many more.
